UAB „Lietmedis“ - is a wood processing company based in Vilnius.
We started our activities in 1989.
In that year the company received the task by the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania to import wood from the Russian Federation, Komi Autonomous Republic.
The company successfully fulfilled this task.
After the regaining of independence, UAB „Lietmedis“ continued its activities and only during the blockade imported 15,000 m3 of wood for Lithuanian companies.
UAB Lietmedis actively contributed to the supply of raw wood for Lithuanian companies an in turn of military equipment to the Ministry of Defence and of all necessary raw materials to the Lithuanian economy.
We have invented and designed a new method of wood drying, which uses up to 10 times less of heat energy:
condensation-convection dryers, with water-based condensers.
Our goal - is provision of high quality services and products to the customers.
